SEGi University and Colleges (SEGi) being the largest group of higher education institutions in Malaysia, SEGi University & Colleges is home to 16,000 students from about 85 nations across its campuses, of which 40% are international students, alongside 9.1% foreign faculty staff.

In addition to being a melting pot of diverse cultures, SEGi University & Colleges has carved its name as a global education hub. SEGi is well-recognised for its continuous delivery of affordable quality higher education. From Pre-University to Postgraduate, SEGi offers a wide range of programmes in Accounting, Finance & Business Management, Medicine, Dentistry, Optometry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Engineering and Built Environment, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Psychology, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Communication, Creative Arts and Early Childhood Education.

In 1977, SEGi University Group (SEGi) was known as Systematic College. Today, SEGi has as many as 16,000 students, in five major campuses located in the Klang Valley, Penang and Sarawak.

Main Campus[edit]

SEGi's main campus, in Kota Damansara, houses several faculties including Business, Technology and Innovation, Creative Arts and Design, and Dentistry. The most recently built facility, Kota Damansara MRT Station, provides access to students from Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur.

The campus has facilities including an academic library and swimming pool. It can accommodate up to 12,000 students. An extension building known as SEGi Tower is a few hundred metres away to accommodate an additional 6,000 students.

SEGi University has been recognised as a QS 5 Star Plus institution according to the QS World University Rankings 2022. SEGi University obtained 5 Stars ratings in eight evaluations: Teaching, Internationalisation, Online Learning, Arts & Culture, Employability, Academic Development, Inclusiveness, and Specialist Criteria: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). This prestigious rating places SEGi University among the top 21 universities globally.

Most recently, SEGi University has ranked 57 in South-East Asia and amongst the top 261-270 universities in Asia in the Asian University Rankings 2023 published by QS World University Rankings.

SEGi College Kota Damansara

SEGi College Kota Damansara[edit]

SEGi College Kota Damansara is located at SEGi Tower, an extension building just a 5-minute walk from the main campus. It accommodates up to 6,000 students across faculties such as the Faculty of Business, Accountancy & Law; School of Communication & Creative Design; and School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. SEGi College Kota Damansara is walking distance of the Kota Damansara MRT station.

SEGi College Subang Jaya

SEGi College Subang Jaya[edit]

SEGi College Subang Jaya first opened in January 2006. It can accommodate up to 6,500 students. Students from this campus have free access to sports facilities at the 3K Sports Complex opposite the main building. SEGi College Subang Jaya will move to the brand new futuristic tech-driven campus at EduMetro, USJ 1, 2nd half of 2023.

SEGi College Kuala Lumpur

SEGi College Kuala Lumpur[edit]

This campus opened its door in 1977. It has since expanded from one building to five buildings. Currently, the college has approximately 4,000 students studying on a full-time or part-time basis.

SEGi College Penang

SEGi College Penang[edit]

SEGi College Penang serves as SEGi's education hub to students in the northern region of Malaysia. The campus is in Green Hall. The campus offers a wide range of programmes at different levels in the fields of business, accounting, human resources, early childhood education, mass communication, information technology, hotel management and tourism.

SEGi College Sarawak

SEGi College Sarawak[edit]

Located in the capital city, Kuching, it is one of the largest private colleges in East Malaysia. This is the only campus that offers law programmes at diploma and bachelor's degree levels.
