Samipeni Finau (born 10 May 1999 in Tonga)[1] is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays for the ChiefsinSuper Rugby. His playing position is lockorflanker. He was named in the Chiefs squad for round 2 of the 2021 Super Rugby Aotearoa season.[2] He was also a member of the Waikato 2020 Mitre 10 Cup squad.[3]

International career[edit]

Finau made his senior test debut in a Bledisloe Cup test match on 5 August 2023 versus Australia, where he scored a try and helped the All Blacks win 23-20.[4]
