Savinsky District (Russian: Са́винский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-oneinIvanovo Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 861 square kilometers (332 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (asettlement) of Savino.[1] Population: 10,224 (2021 Census);[7] 12,079 (2010 Russian census);[3] 14,471 (2002 Census);[8] 17,654 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Savino accounts for 46.2% of the district's total population.[7]
