Scoparia limatula moth in the family Crambidae .[2] endemic in New Zealand .[1]
Taxonomy [ edit ]
It was described by Alfred Philpott in 1930.[3] [4] Scoparia is in doubt.[1] Scoparia (s.l.) limatula .[2] holotypes of this species and Scoparia harpalea [5]
Description [ edit ]
The wingspan is about 26 mm. The forewings are white with grey and fuscous scales. The hindwings are brassy-ochreous. Adults have been recorded on wing in January and February.[3]
