    Siem Reap Airways International was a Cambodian regional airline based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.[1] Wholly owned by Bangkok AirwaysofThailand, its primary hub was Phnom Penh International Airport, with secondary hubs at Suvarnabhumi Airport and Siem Reap International Airport.[2] It ceased operations in 1 December 2008.

    Banned EU status[edit]

    Siem Reap Airways appeared on the European Union's list of prohibited carriers for safety reasons and is therefore banned from operating services of any kind within any EU nations.[3] As of 1 December 2008, the airline sought clarification with the European Union about the ban.[4]
