    Singing Drums is an album by the Pierre Favre Ensemble recorded over two days in May 1984 and released on ECM November that same year. The all-percussion quartet features Paul Motian, Fredy Studer, and Nana Vasconcelos.[2]

    The AllMusic review by Michael G. Nastos awarded the album 4½ stars stating "For special tastes".[4]

    Modern Drummer called the pieces on the album "a bunch of hypnotic, surprisingly melodic pieces for four rhythmatists."[5]
