Sinun (also written Sinuni, SinooniorSnuny, Arabic: سنوني; Kurdish: سنونێ, romanized: Sinunê)[2][3] is a town located in the Sinjar District of the Ninawa GovernorateinIraq. The town is located north of the Sinjar Mount. It belongs to the disputed territories of Northern Iraq.[1][4]

Sinun is populated by Yazidis.[1]
