This is my first time even hearing about the task force. I agree with a merger, but I'm not sure I agree with the direction you're proposing. Wouldn't it make more sense to merge the task force into the wikiproject? As I understand it, one of the main reasons one might favor a task force is to utilize the automation from the parent wikiproject, but that isn't necessary here. As a tangent, I have recently been wondering about Twitch streamers and other influencers. Many of them operate a YouTube channel on the side, so they are part of WikiProject YouTube, but what about content creators that don't? Where would their article go? If we could go back and change things, it might have made sense for this WikiProject to cover Twitch streamers and the like, but this is out of scope of this discussion.
