Stony Lonesome (also spelled Stoney Lonesome) is an unincorporated communityinHarrison Township, Bartholomew County, in the U.S. stateofIndiana.[1]

History[edit]

Stony Lonesome was likely named on account of its rocky and isolated terrain.[3] The community has been noted for its unusual place name.[4]
