Why is that there in the article?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.197.241.150 (talk) 02:03, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Need proofreading

[edit]

Sections of the current version of the article sound as if they were written by a someone whose native language is not English. AnonMoos (talk) 14:51, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's true I did it, and Spanish is my first language, maybe I used spanish expressions and is not the same in english or maybe sounds weird, someone with English as first language can help us here changing the phrases in english expressions. thank you Hpav7 (talk) 04:08, 04 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The authorship of the 1824 Mexican constitution is not Childress as listed in the article. The author instead is Lorenzo de Zavala. Childress wrote the constitution for the Republic of Texas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.8.61.7 (talk) 07:26, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

CONFIRM DATES FOR "Drafting and Promulgation" SECTION

[edit]

The last paragraph states that『On 10 October 1824, Guadalupe Victoria was elected the first president of the United Mexican States for the period 1825-1829, and on the same day he and vice president Nicolás Bravo took their oaths of office.Guadalupe Victoria served as interim president from October 10 to March 31 of 1825. His constitutional term in office began on 1 April 1825.』

Can someone confirm the dates? I can't seem to reconcile the chronology of events. It starts off with Oct 1824 and then subsequently references of 1825. I may have misunderstood the passage but some clarification is needed. Dorismirella (talk) 13:56, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

not bad

[edit]

pretty good info! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.0.78.113 (talk) 21:08, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Recent expansion

[edit]

The recent lengthy additions to this article have been added by someone posting their own research or analysis on this subject(they identify themselves in the edit history and in the citations). This seems a WP:COI issue. 331dot (talk) 11:28, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

COI tag

[edit]

I am removing the COI tag. The edit summary self-identifies the IP as Jaime E. Rodríguez, who is a noted scholar on this subject. Karanacs (talk) 04:09, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
