Oppose per WP:NC-GAL, the naming convention for election articles. The current title is the correct naming format, and the rationale is somewhat misleading, as although the category is named as such, the main article is Cisleithania. Number5714:36, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There was a debate at WP:CFD regarding Empire of Austria (1867–1918) vs Cisleithania as the category name; Empire of Austria (1867–1918) won. These renames are to preserve categorical and article consistency. Laurel Lodged (talk) 16:25, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK, well the article itself is still clearly more relevant in terms of naming alignment than the category, plus the title is out of sync with the naming guideline for election articles. If Cisleithania were to be renamed Empire of Austria (1867–1918), then the correct format for the election article would be『1900–1901 Austrian legislative election』rather than the proposed one. That is a correctly formulated title at least. However, I would suggestion you request the Cisleithania article be moved before these titles follow. Number5720:20, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support as common name. By the way that does not rule out an article Cisleithania about the official name of the Austrian Empire for a few decades. (I was notified on my talk page about this nomination, as I was earlier involved in the category discussion.)Marcocapelle (talk) 17:45, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless of the Cisleithania common name issue, the proposed format is not correct. Election articles like this are titled "XXXX [country adjective/name] election". You are ignoring the naming convention for election articles. Number5720:20, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Using "Empire of Austria" in this way is confusing and putting two dates in the title is worse. We could do "1891 Austrian legislative election", however. (My opinion is the same on all these RMs that should have been done as a multi-move.) Srnec (talk) 16:24, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
