Recent scanning of the North American map series for 1965 indicated Debbie was named prior to reaching the Gulf of Mexico, implying it was named while an initial tropical depression. The maps appear to show this as well, suddenly showing the identifier "T. D. Debbie" without ever calling it a TS first. Something to keep an eye out for, as it appears the most recent known occurrence of a TD being named in the Atlantic basin. Thegreatdr (talk) 13:59, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure what you are saying. Are you asking me to state the number of tropical depressions, hurricanes, and major hurricane in the lead?--12george1 (talk) 19:41, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
"During that day and August 25, several ships reported tropical storm and hurricane force winds." Can you expand I that please? Were thet useful? What was the peak wind?
