"11 of the Most Devastating Weather Disasters in Minnesota Throughout The Years". KROC (AM). 28 September 2022. June is a bad month for Minnesota. In June of 1968, a F5 tornado roared across Southwestern Minnesota around 7pm. According to Wikipedia,111 homes were destroyed, some that only had their foundations left. Another 76 were majorly damaged, and another 114 had minor damage. There were also several farms that were completely wiped away. 5 businesses were completely destroyed and another 15 were damaged. A total of 125 people were injured and 9 people passed away.
I added a few tidbits of information I found interesting and made a few minor edits to incorrect information. I added information about several other tornadoes I found that had occurred on the same day as the tornado that hit Tracy, MN as well as a description of the photo taken by Eric Lantz. My source said that there were in fact only 125 injuries not 150 as it had stated before, so i fixed that as well.
