Adding in an article link

[edit]

Hey everyone!

Hoping to reach out to @DJ Cane to get his view on adding a "See also" link, whether or not -

- would be a good idea under the Western Washington and Oregon subsection. Or if not, a See also link at the bottom of the page?

Not sure what would be best so coming here before making any changes based on connectivity to this flood disaster with other articles.

Thanks!

Hi @Shortiefourten!
I lean toward not doing a see also but am not directly opposed to it. I edited the prose to add a wl directly in to give you and other editors a view of what that would look like. Let me know if you think this is sufficent or if you still lean toward the see also being put into that section.
Thanks DJ Cane (he/him) (Talk) 01:44, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
DJ Cane,
Your solution is spot on. Thinking about it now, mine would've caused clutter simply for a subsection link. Had it been an article about the 1996 flooding in the Chehalis Valley, maybe a different story.
I know we don't WP:OWN our efforts, but when you come across an excellent article like this one you started, I believe in reaching out first before stepping on great work.
Thanks for the wikilink and see you around!
