Images for each storm[edit]

I am trying to get an image for each storm, like 2005. I have started uploading ones that aren't on Wikipedia yet, and they are listed below. If you find a better image, feel free to replace it.

I'm in the process of getting them. Hurricanehink 01:33, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Got them all. Just in case you wanted the Subtropical Storm, I included that as well. Hurricanehink 16:19, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Subtropical storm - #19?[edit]

Wouldn't it have been numbered as 19L.NONAME and been officially Subtropical Storm 19? I thought that was how they did it before 2002 when they started naming them. CrazyC83 02:14, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The NRL Navy archive doesn't even have it there for some reason. However, they do have Subtropical Storm Nicole from 2004...
Also, on another note, while looking through the archives to find the answer, I found Cyclone Catarina sat images: [1].
-- RattleMan 03:42, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
The storm wasn't classified operationally. In a post-analysis, it was upgraded to a Subtropical Storm. However, operationally, Reconaissance Aircraft went in, and TWO's mentioned the psossibility of tropical or subtropical development. Hurricanehink 03:48, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Templates[edit]

Shouldn't we use the templates that the 2005 Hurricane Season has for the storms? And shouldn't we do it for most other seasons?Icelandic Hurricane [[http://tools.wikimedia.de/~interiot/cgi-bin/count_edits?user=Icelandic+Hurricane&dbname=enwiki_p]] 01:33, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Huh? "The templates?" What templates? — jdorje (talk) 08:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Subtropical Storm?[edit]

Should we write a paragraph for this? I've noted it briefly in the introduction.Momoko

No, the way you did is fine. Hurricanehink 17:54, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Heh, just read this after I already moved it. I don't think this small bit of trivia belongs in the intro, as it has nothing to do with the season as a whole. As is done in some other articles, I moved it into an "other storms" section. — jdorje (talk) 05:16, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TDs[edit]

There are sections missing on TD4 (near FL) and TD9 (TX landfall).--Nilfanion (talk) 17:35, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Todo[edit]

Most sections are full, but inline refs are lacking - C-class. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:14, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry it took so long, I have finally added the inline refs. Upgrade article to B-class? --12george1 (talk) 01:46, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I reviewed this article previously, so I'm still pretty familiar with it. It's really close to GA status.

Everything else is good though! --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 00:21, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

I propose merging Hurricane Joyce (2000) into 2000 Atlantic hurricane season. Joyce caused minimal impacts, failing notability immediately, and can be easily implemented into the main article.''Flux55'' (talk) 14:54, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support merge – Given its unremarkable meteorological history, minimal impact, and limited coverage, this storm does not meet the notability threshold for a stand-alone storm article. Drdpw (talk) 00:13, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support per above. 2003LN6 19:16, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
