Source Expiration

[edit]

Can we agree on how long a link indicating someone is a potential challenger is relevant? I know the article for the presidential election caps it at six months, and I would like to ask for a consensus for the same period of time for this article as well, if there isn't one already, so that linked articles are not out of date. --Vinnyvinny2 (talk) 22:39, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone would like to disagree with my decision, they are more than welcome to do so. Until then, I will now remove all expired sources at least six months old. I have failed to find more recent sources for Kendrick Meek, Jimmy Morales, and Jeremy Ring, so will remove them as prospective candidates as well. --Vinnyvinny2 (talk) 21:28, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New polling

[edit]

New (Nov.) Quinnipiac poll. — DavidNYC (talk) 17:11, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There's now (Dec.) a Rick Scott internal. Does that get included? DavidNYC (talk) 20:57, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In races where there's little public polling, I have no problem with including internal polls, as long as they're clearly marked as such. However, in races such as this, where there's a huge number of public polls, I would argue against their inclusion. Tiller54 (talk) 12:31, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Statement on Scott's vulnerability

[edit]

An anonymous IP keeps on removing the statement that Scott is vulnerable due to low approval ratings. Is this statement still accurate considering his improvement in the polls? FirstDrop87 (talk) 22:11, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Polling in Infobox

[edit]

I believe the latest 3 or 4 polls should be included in the Infobox. The infobox template is designed to include polls and due to the length of this article, I think it makes sense to include it. The casual reader is going to struggle to find the general election information in this article and I have yet to discover how to cut down the page while retaining the information. Unless there are strong objections I'm going to add it back within a few days to ensure all the page watcher's can comment. FirstDrop87 (talk) 01:18, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Florida gubernatorial election, 2014. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
