It appears that four of the council members were elected by acclamation, with no challengers. However, there is no comment on the votes cast between Somalia and Mauritius. GBC (talk) 21:19, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I can’t even find the reference cited for the results. Is there any information on this? Bte3000 (talk) 22:15, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
According to this report, Mauritius dropped out after the Executive Council of the African Union endorsed Somalia in February 2024. As such, "All the regional groups are running uncontested elections this year, known as a “clean slate.”" Members could still vote, giving 182 votes to Pakistan, 179 to Somalia, 183 to Panama, one to Argentina, 184 to Denmark, 182 to Greece, and one each to Italy and Norway, since "contesting states must receive a two-thirds majority, even if they are unopposed." Cilidus (talk) 09:47, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
