Till now, the only reason to link the 25th ARVN Division with the Battle of Ba Gia is the participation of its 51st ARVN Regiment. But there are two information that prove 51st ARVN Regiment did not belong to the 25th ARVN Division:
InArmy of the Republic of Vietnam#Formations and units, the 51st Regiment was listed in the 1st Division's Component Units not in the 25th Division's Component Units. These two divisions' own articles are consistent with that listing too.
InArmy of the Republic of Vietnam#Formations and units, the 25th Division was described "Formed in Quảng Ngãi in 1962, it moved to south west of Saigon in 1964". There was no reason to move its 51st Infantry Regiment (if exist) from south west of Saigon pass over 700km to join the Battle of Ba Gia in Quảng Ngãi province in 1965.
