Remove website from infobox[edit]

I suggest removing the website from the infobox. It is neither a live website, nor more than merchandising. If, for some reason, we need to keep this link in the article, it could be moved to the External links section, with a clear description that it's an Internet Archive copy of the old store. --62.166.252.25 (talk) 18:49, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Additional context for the performance charge[edit]

Section 6ix9ine § Child sexual performance charges provides context for the "Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance" charge. The source we use was "Retrieved December 18, 2017" and "Archived from the original on April 5, 2018". A more recent archived copy of that website, from 24 January 2024, here shows us that an "Update (October 26, 2018, 8:25 p.m.)" was added to Jezebel's article. The update includes this text:『Assistant District Attorney Sara Weiss told the court about a video in which 6ix9ine is seen fondling the breasts and smacking the butt of a 13-year-old who was being penetrated by two adult males at the same time—orally and vaginally. Weiss quoted 6ix9ine as saying in the video, “This is what we do, this is how we rock.』Since we do consider Jezebel a reliable enough source to provide context for the charge - almost the entire paragraph, including the video descriptions - we should update our article to reflect the source's update. In other words, to make my edit request concrete in a "please change X to Y" form, here's what I believe should be done. After the paragraph that starts "In a November 2017 interview [...]", we should add: "At his sentencing, assistant DA Sara Weiss told the court that Hernandez did fondle the child's breasts and smacked her buttocks while she was being double penetrated." --62.166.252.25 (talk) 20:23, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks for the feedback. I've made the change myself. --62.166.252.25 (talk) 05:02, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Athleticism[edit]

Hernandez played baseball and soccer throughout his youth and was allegedly assigned a scout for a major league team at 13 but his mother declined because she did not trust a stranger taking her son at a young age.

The single source of this claim to Hernandez's apparent exceptional athleticism as a teenager is a brief statement made in part of a three-page letter from his mother to a judge requesting for lenience in sentencing when Hernandez was facing decades in prison. In it she states that Hernandez was very athletic and that when he was 13 years old a scout wanted to sign him to a major league team, however she refused this offer because she could not trust a complete stranger to take her 13 year old son.

The details provided are scant and the legitimacy of this claim is questionable. The only apparent purpose of the statement is to assign blame to herself for having prevented her son from being a professional athlete years before he would go on to commit the crimes at issue. Elsewhere is no other source that identifies Hernandez as having exceptional athletic talents that would warrant it being attributed to him in a Wikipedia article. 108.34.233.41 (talk) 11:29, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talkcontribs) 10:48, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
