The show's premise reminds me of the situation we've just had with my grandma's house. She died last year, and we had to sell her house. First time in over 100 years that the house has been outside the family, and even now I can't see anyone but Grandma living there. It was so much a part of my childhood, and now it's gone. I think that's the same thing here with this show. It was painful to not see Archie and his family in that house anymore, and that's why the show upended before too long.

What kind of "disturbing" are we talking about here?

Is it really a spinoff?

[edit]

704 Hauser is more of a "remake" just as the new Battlestar Galactica was a remake of the original 70s show. (And also how All in the Family was not a spinoff, but a remake of the original BBC show.)

In my opinion it's not exactly a spin-off but more of a soft sequel, as it's very distinctly set in the Bunkers former house, in a neighbourhood that has changed in it's demographics, AND Joey Stivic, a baby in the origional show, is in the first episode as a grown man looking to explore the home he grew up in.

The 6 eppisodes are avaliable for free streaming in Canada on CTV.CA as part of their "Throwback" sitcoms, should that be mentioned on the wiki? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.206.20.134 (talk) 18:30, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
