Good summary of events but needs conversion to inline cites[edit]

this article is a fairly good summary of the events but I see that it was written in an older wiki-style before we did in-line citations for facts. I do happen to have a copy of the Somerset books so I can try and provide inline cites with page numbers for some of the asserted facts but not all. I'd also like to see a couple of images of the major players included. Can anyone help me out?LiPollis (talk) 20:53, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not imprisoned at the Château de Villefranche[edit]

I don't think the following is correct: "six women were imprisoned at Château de Villefranche". According to <http://www.fort-liberia.com/fort-liberia/page_4.html> eight women were imprisoned at the Fort Libéria in Villefranche-de-Conflent. Actually, I visited this place and saw the prison. The Château de Villefranche is located somewhere else, namely in the commune of Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc in the Haute-Garonne département of France (see the Wikipedia entry for it). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Microbizz (talkcontribs) 11:02, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Eleanor Herman reference[edit]

The reference to "Sex With Kings" was introduced in this diff, by Kazuba. It was recently revised by Moonraker to read "in her book Sex with Kings, records that Given claimed the remains..." instead of "in her book Sex with Kings, records "Given" claimed the remains...". This makes no sense. "Given" is obviously not a name. I checked the book, and it seems that the passage Kazuba refers to reads: "Given reports of babies' bones in La Voisin's garden, the police started digging. They uncovered the remains of twenty-five hundred infants (...)". It made little sense as written originally, but the quote-removing edit by Moonraker really made this less obvious and more confusing, given that "Given", without quotes and capitalized looks like a name, which isn't mentioned anywhere, because it isn't a name. How about checking that stuff makes sense before editing? --Lasse Hillerøe Petersen (talk) 09:49, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Château de Salces?[edit]

This is listed as among the prisons where the various accused were incarcerated. However, Google does not know the word "Salces" as a place name - I believe the correct article may be Fort de Salses, but (presumably) this isn't what the reference says. Is there another reference that can confirm the correct location? Tevildo (talk) 13:57, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
