I would like to propose fixing the 2007 All-African Games and 2011 All-African Games article names to remove the n to be in line with the other articles. This will also let the {{All-Africa Games}} template highlight the correct year when navigating.
Also, any thoughts on keeping the African articles with redirects to the Africa (non) series articles? If so, additional ones should be created for each listed on Category:All-Africa Games. Otherwise, the above two articles could just be deleted. -- MrDolomite | Talk 21:58, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The proposed move is fine. And uncontroversial - All-Africais the correct name - so go ahead and do it. I have no feelings about whether the resulting redirect pages should stay. Why not. Punkmorten 22:10, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Forgot to come back an do this sooner ;) — MrDolomite | Talk 00:16, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Could somebody restore the 2011 All-Africa Games article since someone merged it to the main All-Africa Games article as an unintended act? You know Lisaka should be preparing for the 2011 Games right about now. Jim856796 13:21, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It has been restored for some time, now I need help expanding it. Any expert Wiki editors who can take some pics or find out more detailed plans? Or for that matter, the exact dates of the Games?! Thanks!-Cbradshaw (talk) 05:37, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All-Africa Games → African Games – After ten editions, the "All-Africa Games" has been renamed the "African Games" during the Executive Council meeting of the African Union held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in January 2012 (The Guardian). We can also see the new name in the official website of the 11th African Games - Brazzaville 2015 (here). Fayçal.09 (talk) 23:56, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
