[edit]

In keeping with good wiki practice I'm proposing the following link to accompany the headline photo I uploaded several years ago:

http://www.wyrdlight.com/stories/airforcerunnymede.htm

Particularly while the article is a stub this page which I developed may be of interest as it shows the memorial and has associated visual materials and has certainly proved of interest to families abroad. WyrdLight (talk) 17:05, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Updating Stub

[edit]

These are the initial set of images proposed to update this stub.

Air Forces Memorial Runnymede Entrance Gates & Monument Front Aspect
Image showing lay out of inscriptions by year nationality and rank
Memorial cloister with remembrance stone before the central chapel surmounted by the Astral Crown
Air Forces Memorial Runnymede England - example coat of arms of the Commonwealth Nations of the commemorated
Air Forces Memorial Runnymede England - View of portico from chapel & showing lions rampant in doors

Another category

[edit]

I was thinking of adding this to Category:Battle of Britain. as some BoB casualties are listed here? I hesitate because it's not BoB-specific, though? Noel (talk) 15:12, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed entry from list of the Memorialised

[edit]

I have removed this from the list as this has been added without citation and the named person has not (at least yet) any wiki article:
