reason for deletion

[edit]

This company is notable for its share in the game market. Alawar was one of the first company all over the world which started to create and publish casual games. And that is why there is no reason to delete this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Casualgamesreview (talkcontribs)

This article is more of an advertisement for the company than a useful source of information. Page will likely be taken to WP:AFD if this speedy is declined.keystoneridin! (talk) 22:47, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The following pages need to be added to this page - i need to review what format other developers use and and will most likely copy it:

That's off top of head. Will do a more detailed searh later. Turlo Lomon (talk) 16:21, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Russian or American?

[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Is Alawar an American company now? Or it still a Russian company, but now headquartered in U.S. for some reason?

Similar to Nexon, which is a South Korean game company that headquartered in Japan?

And Alawar too, a Russian game company that headquartered in U.S.?

Can anyone explain that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.175.14.21 (talk) 07:23, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

According to this source, they're Russian, but it's from 2017. I think we should probably call them Russian unless someone can show otherwise. It's common for companies to be incorporated in Delaware. They do this because Delaware is a corporate haven; see Delaware General Corporation Law. It doesn't make them any less Russian if they have a mailbox in Delaware. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:31, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ad more than an article

[edit]

This article presents the unnecessary information which may be annoying for viewers. It seems to be more of an advertisement for the company than a useful source of information Tahyuzhthaort21 (talk) 10:24, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
