Merging of Alfa Romeo 1750[edit]

see Talk:Alfa Romeo Sprint GT (Veloce) for discussion. qwertytam 05:56, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article Name[edit]

Should the name be changed to Alfa Romeo Giulia Berlina or Alfa Romeo Giulia Sedan or something else similar to remove confusion between the sedan and the coupe as Alfa Romeo Giulia generaly refers to both the sedan and the coupe. qwertytam 05:58, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When the Giulia was introduced in 1962, my understanding was that it was called the Alfa Romeo Giulia, not the Alfa Romeo Giulia Berlina, so if that is the correct name, that is what it should be called. Then the article should mention the Sprint/Sprint GT/GT Veloce versions and provide a link. Same with the spider, we should provide a very brief mention of the spider then provide a link. --Xagent86 (Talk | contribs) 12:27, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The 105 Series coupe appeared in several iterations over a 13-year production span, only three of which - Giulia Sprint GT, Giulia Sprint GT Veloce and the racing Giulia Sprint GTA - bore the name Giulia. The GT1300 Junior, GT1600 Junior, 1750GTV and 2000GTV were made in much larger numbers over a longer period of time than the Sprint GT/GTV. The 1750 and 2000 engine capacities were never fitted to Giulia saloons anyway. The 105 Series coupe should have its own article linked from here. 213.207.149.210 22:20, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Giulia Spider, GT1300 Junior and Giulia Sprint Speciale pictures[edit]

The Giulia Spider, Giulia Sprint and Giulia Sprint Speciale bear little relation to the Giulia except the name and the engine capacity of 1570cc. They were expediently up-engined and renamed editions of the similar Giulietta 101 Series models. I feel this should be mentioned in the text and those cars grouped with the Giuliettas. For the 105 series coupes like the GT1300 Junior, see my comment above. 213.207.149.210 22:20, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TI Super Production[edit]

The usual quantity reported for the TI Super is either 501 or 503, not 1,000 as stated. This information may be found at many sources such as Alfa Romeo Buyer's Guide, Sports Car Market magazine, etc.

Giulia Sprint Speciale picture[edit]

Previous picture was actually of a (very rare) early low-nose Giulietta Sprint Speciale. Replaced with a correct picture of a Giulia Sprint Speciale. Gkaraolides (talk) 10:19, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is Bot placed notification, another user has nominated/tagged the image --CommonsNotificationBot (talk) 12:15, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Drag Coefficient[edit]

I just don't buy that the Giulia had a drag coefficient of .33. Sad to say, the figures put out by manufacturers of the era were notoriously unreliable. It would be better to have data from an unimpeachable source.

Why unreliable? -->Typ932 T·C 19:05, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
