This had to be the most uncomfortable article to write. Ever. uriah923(talk) 21:49, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy

[edit]

The only source of information is Proctor and Gamble themselves, and of course they would like to advertise this as a "world leader". -- Chsf 14:32, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A stub of an article — a mere three lines — and it's tagged already? Maybe that one line should just be removed. Lady Galaxy 04:27, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Influence on architecture

[edit]

Two users have recently deleted the information about the bridge in Tbilisi, Georgia (the country) which has the nickname "Always Ultra" bridge. This fact is reported in two reliable sources, the Economist and Lonely Planet. If someone sees this nickname as an insult to the bridge, or to "national pride", that is not a reason to remove (censor) this information from Wikipedia. Re: Compromising of the always brand name.

[edit]

I recently bought a packet of always pads from my local store and upon opening the packet, I noticed it was not always brand in the packet. Even the packet is suspicious looking. Please, see my email address for further discussion as I have pictures to proof. Thanking you Sheryl du Plessis Sheryl Martin (talk) 18:42, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Sheryl Martin: Here's a link to the company's "contact us" page: [1]. Customer service questions should be directed at the companies because not many of them check their talk pages here on Wikipedia. CityOfSilver 18:44, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Actually they probably do. In general companies are all over their Wikipedia pages and I'm sure they don't neglect the talk pages. Still, contacting the company directly is good advice. Robert Brockway (talk) 10:11, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of name of person who "introduced" product and minor correction of timeline

[edit]

The source for the claim in the first paragraph that Always was "introduced...by a person named Bethany Holroyd" does not actually say that. I have the book Rising Tide and no one name is mentioned as being the person who introduced the product, and no one by the name of Bethany Holroyd (or anything similar) is in the book. Also, there's a slight difference in the dates of introduction of the product in various countries, so I have changed those to match this source, along with removing the name. A quick check on Google Books and archival news sources also found nothing about Bethany Holroyd, so if someone wants to add it back in, a solid source would be appreciated. Clockster (talk) 12:54, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also wanted to add that I removed the sentence "Procter & Gamble has the global leading position in manufacturing and commercializing feminine hygiene products" because I could find no source for it, and the sentence (added in 2010) is almost word-for-word from a 2010 blog article, which also didn't have any sources. Clockster (talk) 13:07, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
