I'm thinking of making 13 separate articles for the individual atolls, islands, etc., moving the information in the respective paragraphs of this articles to the new respective articles, and linking to the new articles from the table entries (actually, the Desroches article already existed, and I already copied information from the paragraph to the article). Whoever thinks this is not a good idea please respond here.Ratzer12:57, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see there are 3 links on this. Given the guidelines suggest multiple links are undesirable when an index page is available is there a good reason for the deep links? The whole lot are indexed at http://www.botany.hawaii.edu/faculty/duffy/atoll.htm which seems a valid link, I know it means people will have to explore for themselves but given the difficulty in finding that index from the linked articles despite it's obvious worth and EL policy it seems preferable to the multi-links adding up.
