Fatal accidents on Aneto

[edit]

Although Aneto is considered to be a relatively easy Alpine ascent it has claimed a number of lives over the years. On the 27th May 2012 an experienced Catalan climber Jordi Gomis Olle was killed at the Passage of Mohamet.[[File:]] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.210.85.53 (talk) 07:24, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistencies in Mountain Height

[edit]

Aneto is said to be the 3rd tallest mountain in Iberia, but its elevation is listed as being greater than that of Veleta's which is said to be the 2nd tallest peak. Something's incorrect there, unless I am gravely misunderstanding the definitions of tallest and elevation.

Not in Iberia, but in Spain, after Teide and Mulhacén. --Jotamar (talk) 16:33, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
