Why is he called Michael Epstein in this article but references to him other media call him Anthony Epstein? Does he go by his middle name? Asarelah (talk) 11:10, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Tony died on 6th February 2024. I have no suitable reference apart from this notice from Wolfson College, which I note here rather than editing the article. Doutless there will be a notice of record in a few days.
It is with great sadness that the College has been informed of the death of Sir Anthony Epstein (1921-2024) who died after a very short illness in the early hours of Tuesday morning (6 February 2024) at the age of 102. Sir Anthony was an Extraordinary Fellow (1986-2001) and later Honorary Fellow (2001-2024) and his obituary is expected to appear in the Times in the next few days.
