The sentence "a cell type produced by meiosis from normal diploid cells." is a bit misleading because as far as I know the gametocyte is a differentiated merozoite, which is already halploid. Also the word "normal" is misleading. --kupirijo (talk) 08:11, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The sentence "This presentation is intended as an outline of a hypothetical generalised apicomplexan organism." seems to have been copied from some other source, probably a presentation of some kind :) Can someone with knowledge in this area revise it?
