Is a sports venue really identically with a arena? For me as non native speaker an arena could be a sports venue, but not every arena is a sports venue.--Ma-Lik (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 09:43, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is arena always sensible term to use for translation of non-English names for 'arenas'? Specifically for instance in Slovene and in some other Slavic languages 'indoor stadium' is called 'dvorana', which is basically hall - like Tivoli Hall. Article about sport venues does not list any halls at all. For instance only Arena Stožice is also in Slovene called 'arena', but Zlatorog Arena is in Slovene 'dvorana'. List of indoor arenas for example also has Tabor Hall, which is also 'dvorana'. --xJaM (talk) 14:34, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
