Assessment

[edit]

This article is an excellent addition. Unfortuantely it is still a start class due to the requirement for at least one cite per paragraph. A couple of images would also add to it significantly. If these could be added it would definately make a B class. Good work. Anotherclown (talk) 08:28, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto above. Very nicely done, except for the citations (lack thereof) and images (also lack thereof). I don't know your level of experience, but if you need/want help or advice, you might try Nate, who is also interested in the navy and WWI. Auntieruth55 (talk) 17:19, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks; I was looking through Commons for suitable images, but not coming up with much. I didn't want to just copy the ones at U-boat Campaign (World War I), but I may have to. I should have some in a couple of days.
This citations thing; is there a quota? I’ve cited the stuff I thought needed it; does it need more? Xyl 54 (talk) 12:30, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It looks better already. Generally, re citations, you'll need one per paragraph; in sentences where you cite specific information, you'll probably want an inline cite there as well. The military project is probably makes the most demands for this, but the other projects under which this falls do as well. You might include a map (I don't remember if you have one). Alsso, i've noticed you have one or two paragraphs that have only one or two sentences. This should probably be examined more closely, and perhaps expanded. Remember, topic sentence, supporting material, concluding sentence, and they all lead to the next paragraph.... ;) Auntieruth55 (talk) 14:23, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Couldn't this be at Battle of the Atlantic (1914–1918)orFirst Battle of the Atlantic to parallel Battle of the Atlantic (1939–1945)?216.8.134.159 (talk) 18:55, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
