Wikipedia's lat/lon (14°17′2.7″S 170°33′37.5″W) appears in error, ref. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aunu%27u because other sources (Google Maps) indicate that Aunu'u Island approx location is at northern most approx lat/lon is -14.277359,-170.553131, western most is -14.285511,-170.562572, southern most is -14.289337,-170.557594, and eastern most is -14.285012,-170.545063.
Additionally the lat/lon link listed on the mentioned Wikipedia webpage, links to a page titled "GeoHack - Aunu'u" (again displaying the same questionable lat/lon).
Short of my further investigating the issue, in the mean time, with respect to the Wikipedia and/or Google Maps inconsistancy, I've just contacted www.truearth.com/support (Google Maps's source for mapping) and with this and their contacts (toward hopefully getting all parties concerned together and resolving the matter internally).
Declined — All Wikipedia coordinates link to GeoHack pages. Even though proper coordinates are provided by Wikipedia to Google, all Google mapping applications sometimes take you to the wrong place (Google Earth using the "w/ meta data" link in GeoHack seems to usually avoid the problem). The problem is with Google, not with Wikipedia. If you'll use the Wikimapia or Acme map links from the GeoHack page, you'll be taken to the proper location. @Samoamaiaunuu: I've re-added some paragraphs you deleted earlier today, in case it was accidental when you were editing the page. If the deletions were intentional, on the other hand, I think they're significant enough that it's worth a quick discussion to talk about the changes (as per the guidelines at WP:CYCLE).
