Okay, so we got a dispute here. On an early edit, somebody said a guy by the name of Gregory Malcom Adams portrayed Barry. However, recent edits on that article as well as this article point it to Barry Gjerde, and that there is nobody by the name of "Gregory Malcom Adams" who worked on this game.
It's either one, the other or both. I'm leaning towards both: Maybe Gjerde did his voice (judging how Gjerde is a voice actor/narrator), and Adams did the live-action scenes. Could somebody verify what is correct so I can adjust things accordingly? Because if this is true that there is no "Gregory Malcom Adams", I'll nominate that article for Speedy Deletion.-TonicBH15:44, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There is NO Gregory Malcom Adams. Barry Gjerde acted in the live action scenes AND voiced Barry in the game. Go to his official site. Look at the photos. Its the same guy. This "Gregory Malcom Adams" nonsense was started by a member of the Gamefaqs forums whos since been banned. Strange that the creation of "Gregory Malcom Adams" article is attributed to yourself, TonicBH. Parjay19:26, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Right, because somebody put in the original article the "Gregory Adams" fiasco, and I thought it was truth without checking sources. My mistake. -TonicBH21:11, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's NOT the same guy. There is no proof whatsoever. IMDB's list is unreliable. Just because he looks like Barry Gjerde does NOT mean it is. You are probably the idiot that posted that BS IMDB link. Lynn Harris's agent said NONE of the voice actors were the live actors. Here's is proof and leave it as Gregory. ALT1: ... Barry Burton's lines like "You were almost a Jill Sandwich!" from the first Resident Evil game were popular enough to be referenced in following games?"
Source: [2][3] About Eurogamer YT source. "Jill Sandwich" started at 2:26to2:29.

^Wilson, Aoife (February 9, 2015). Video: Oh my Cod - An ode to Resident Evil's Barry Burton (Video). Event occurs at 2:26-2:29. Jill Sandwich
Length and history verified. References good for original hook. But for ALT1 (and the Eurogamer one for the original, if you are linking to a page with video use {{cite AV media}} and give us the time when the statement is made in the video instead of making us look through the whole thing. OK, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. You need to change the cite in the article to {{cite AV media}} so you can put the time in the cite in the article. If you feel that's too complicated, I would be happy to do it for you. Daniel Case (talk) 02:15, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Um, no. Source 28 still doesn't have it, you haven't edited the article in three weeks, and the only edit since you wrote that wasn't to that source. Daniel Case (talk) 02:38, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
