OLYMPICS WINTER GAMES AT ALBERTVILLE : Blair Is Golden for 500 Meters : Speedskating: In a popular victory, she becomes the first woman to win the event in consecutive Olympics This is already used in the article, but it also discusses Blair's wholesome image, her rapport with Rothenburger Luding, and a little on the impact of the fall of the Berlin Wall. I am aiming to have this article nominated or Good Article status this year. With the Olympics coming up, this feels like a good time. Anyone is welcome to participate. I also encourage interested editors to check out Women in Green.

For this article, the biggest need is expansion. Here are somethings that I think are needed.

• Add other competitions in between Olympics
• Add career since competitive retirement
• Add about her public image, possibly in a new section
• Add more context about US speed skating
• Find more sources
