Comments[edit]

Just wanted to see what others thought about providing a full list of the JCR? It would need updating each year when it changes but I think it would warrent inclusion as they play an important part of the college? The same could be included for all of the other colleges as well. I am new to this, so not entirely sure if this is an appropriate idea - thus wanted to check before I edited it, Thanks (Sapient Vesta 02:50, 13 March 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Sorry, but I don't think that'd be a great idea, as I'm not confident the updates would be maintained. The information is available on the linked JCR site, if readers want it.
If JCR Exec members were listed for each College, it'd make sense to list SCR Officers too. Thoughts? Ministry 13:21, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bowland.gif[edit]

Image:Bowland.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 18:13, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The 2008 keyring-lanyards have the motto written as "Bowland Till I Die", besides, I have NEVER heard the motto as "Bowland Till WE Die".
I have thus renamed the motto to its correct wording.
And there is no logo for the College on the page. Most other college's have theirs; why doesn't Bowland? Beau Martinez (talk) 00:04, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Piano Tuners[edit]

Too trivial for the main article but Bowland College were known as the piano tuners in the late 1970s. Inkytext, 14 June 1995 --Northernhenge (talk) 23:40, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
