It would seem that America in its deference to the UK, forbade a British supreme court mission from entering the area where the Supreme Court has absolute jurisdiction in this regard. What is next? Folks told they can't visit the Isle of Wight perhaps? So much for the much vaunted "rule of law" from the country that today is pillorying Russia for its barbarity yet has committed far far worse barbarity against humans during Vietnam, GW1, GW2, Afghanistan and we were all told it was not fair to slam the US for its absolute despicable waging of war of which Diego Garcia played a part. I think it is time for Keir Starmer to grow some balls and tell the US military to get off our land, it is a British territory, the Chagossians are British subjects.
