Fair use rationale for Image:Broadwaylogo.jpg[edit]

Image:Broadwaylogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Article title[edit]

There has been a bit of a slow move war over the past two years (I count eight moves to one title and back) and the page has been protected to stop that. Please now start a requested move discussion to reach consensus on the article title. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 02:32, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information regarding anchor stores[edit]

The mall only has spaces for five anchor tenants (three major and two junior anchors; not seven anchors as originally indicated); Blink Fitness, Blaze Pizza, and Sears are considered outparcels and thus shall be removed from the list, even though they contain maintenance accesses that are connected to the mall that are closed to the public.

As of March 2024, only two of the mall's three major anchor tenants are open, which are IKEA (opened 1991) and Target (opened 2004; converted from a JCPenney outlet which was opened in the fall of 1999 and closed in early 2003 when the site was sold to Target). The remaining major anchor tenant (Gertz > Stern's > Macy's), which opened with the mall in 1956, closed during the week of March 8, 2020, a few days before the COVID-19 emergency was declared; the store was set to close on March 17 but was closed earlier than planned. The only two junior anchors are Round1 and the Showcase Cinemas, the former of which began to be occupied by Steve & Barry's after the 2003-05 construction project to connect IKEA to the rest of the mall; Steve & Barry's closed in early 2009 and the spot where it was located sat vacant for about nine years.
