I suggest this page needs an introduction, outlining the role, function and organisation of the various security forces, as set out in the constitution and other official sources. This could then be followed by some of the existing material. I could do the intro. but I don't have access to the up-to-date info. or sources to tackle the rest of it. I have just returned from a brief trip to Tchad (Jan 2010) - the guards outside the presidential palace are carrying rifles that look like the Israeli Galil or South African R4/5.
