A note[edit]

What about the article of early Greek clothing also called the Chiton? Thats what I'm trying to research.

That would be also known as a tunic 24.82.139.12 08:02, 11 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think when i read some articles about this, this article is confused and needs expert attention.--Filll 18:20, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Chiton[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Chiton's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Jacobs2000":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:01, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Was this the correct use of italics[edit]

Inthis section, I found the following sentence:

They are also traditionally eaten in certain parts of the Philippines, where it is called kibet if raw and chiton if fried.

I removed the italics. Could anyone please tell me if this was the right decision?--Thylacine24 (talk) 15:03, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gumboots[edit]

I don't think this edit is correct. This appears to be the name for only one species the Gumboot chiton. Invasive Spices (talk) 18 March 2022 (UTC)
