Mission control teams[edit]

Here's a list of team colours and leaders from White Team - I don't know if any of it's worth merging in, so I'll drop it here.

The White Team was the Mission Control shift team under the direction of former NASA flight director Gene Kranz, who served as a flight director between 1965 and 1972. The shift colors, used by all NASA flight directors since Mercury 9, are chosen by newly christened flight directors and are retired when that particular flight director leaves the console for the last time, usually when he or she is promoted to senior NASA management positions.

Colors for the NASA flight controllers used between Mercury 9 and STS-1 are as follows:

Project Mercury[edit]

Project Gemini[edit]

Project Apollo (including Skylab & Apollo-Soyuz)[edit]

Space Shuttle[edit]

MOCR2 - seeking documentation on console layouts[edit]

I'm searching for diagrams or photos of the MOCR2 flight control room consoles. (MOCR2 was the flight control room for Apollo 11). Most NASA photos are low-resolution, but Ron Howard's crew had to have photos of something to build their replica with... suggestions welcome. rhyre (talk) 20:18, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know the basic layout for MOCR2 was identical to MOCR1TheDJ (talkcontribs) 22:49, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:
