It's still on the list of articles to copyedit, so I swung by to have a look. I think the copy's good as it stands, but the article could still use a little attention - I've re-tagged it as an Essay and we'll see if it can be worked up into something a little more encyclopaedic.Brickie (talk) 13:01, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This article presents a very negative understanding of the phrase "church renewal". In my experience, this phrase is normally used positively. The church's fundamental mission is about the renewal of individuals, communities and the world. God is always at work through the church in the process of renewal. Neither God nor God's church is static. Can I try to rewrite this article with that in mind? (Of course, I will have to find some references to back me up.) Matthew C.
