Well, such in past editations, the zone was ranked in 2005 and was placed in that that place beacauce, the zone is full of potentates, politics, etc. and beacauce is located in the south center of the city and is more easy access to the gangs, but the government of the city take the problem and resolved; and one time for one of that reasons put the army in the streets of the district to get them out there. Oh and if we talk about of dangerously zones, in Polanco it was killed three persons in Homer street and in Santa Fe about a few meters of the comercial zone it is killed a lot of people of upscale class and stolen so wen you talk about this talk with basses. Thank you.--Joseprzprz86 (talk) 23:57, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Joseprzprz86 has added considerable content without sourcing the information and some of the content seems to be more suitable for a tourist's guide or promotional brochure. Additionally, the grammar of the content is lacking in some places. I believe the appropriateness of these changes need to be discussed. Regards Tiderolls 17:44, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are there any other sources that discuss del Valle's high crime rate with respect to other parts of the DF? For my part, I'm extremely skeptical, because the one source isn't very good: it's all numerator (raw number of crimes) and no denominator (per resident, per square km, per residence, or per something else useful). Without a denominator the figures provided are useless.
I think that, if additional sources can't be provided, the parts of this article calling out del Valle's crime rate ought to be deleted. --Maw (talk) 23:50, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The statistics which were consulted to characterize Del Valle as particularly crime-ridden are from 2009. 2012 stats reveal the 6 highest crime areas in Mexico City (by police zone or "coordinación territorial") as:
Letrán Valle is in the list, the Del Valle colonias are not...
I am planning on introducing some structure and consistency in the main neighborhood articles for Mexico City so will try to update the crime information as part of that effort. Keizers (talk) 02:38, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
