According to "NASA Eyes Spacewalk Fix for Space Station, Private Rocket Launch Delayed".,
"Orbital Sciences holds a $1.9 billion NASA contract to make eight robotic supply runs to the space station with Cygnus and Antares. [...] SpaceX signed a $1.6 billion contract to make 12 flights with its Dragon capsule and Falcon 9 rocket."
I came here looking for more information about any other CRS contracts with other providers, and possibly details about the perceived disparity (1.9G$ for 8 Cygnus flights of ~1t upmass/disposal each vs. 1.6G$ for 12 Dragon flights at ~3t up-/downmass each).
IMO instead of having a Missions section, I'd expect this article to focus on the overarching contracts; missions would be more appropriate in the respective space firm/spacecraft articles.
A contracts summary would be useful. For each contract could have a small table showing the parameters and cost (to NASA) for each operator. - Rod57 (talk) 12:48, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Going on above discussion, I thought that a CRS mission history table for each operator. Here's a quick start on one for SpaceX (with no references to keep things simple for the moment): Ga2re2t (talk) 15:44, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Mission | Date and time (GMT) | F9 | Launch Complex | Pressurized upmass | Unpressurized upmass | Pressurized downmass | Unpressurized downmass | Outcome |

SpaceX CRS-2 | 1 March 2013, 15:10 | 1.0 | CC LC40 | 677 kg | 221 kg | 1210 kg | Success | |

I think it would be nice to have Totals so that we can see how much cargo has been transported overall. Ga2re2t (talk) 15:44, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Something like this?
Mission | Date and time (GMT) | F9 | Launch Complex |
Pressurized upmass (kg) |
Unpressurized upmass (kg) |
Pressurized downmass (kg) |
Unpressurized downmass (kg) |
Outcome | Mission Total (kg) |

I fully agree; the table gives a much better overview of the different missions. Maybe replace 'Date and time' by 'Launch Date and time'? Kcauwert (talk) 00:51, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Will there be a third phase? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.248.242.3 (talk) 10:35, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
How much does each operator get for each CRS-2 mission ? Comments above say Orbital get more $ than SpaceX. A small table would be helpful. - Rod57 (talk) 12:44, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
