Untitled[edit]

From the article: "It was enacted by the 'King-in-Parliament', that is, passed as an Act by the [[British House of Commons|House of Commons]] and House of Lords, before receiving the Royal Assent."

Is this true? I thought it was the 'King-in-Parliament-in-Dublin', i.e. the House of Commons of Southern Ireland (and I would guess the Senate). Why would Westminster have to discuss it, given that it was consistent with the Anglo-Irish Treaty? --Henrygb 00:34, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Irish Citizenship origin question?[edit]

I'm tring to find out when and where the legal concept of an Irish citizenship arose. Can anyone help? This is for the Irish nationality law article. Cheers. Seabhcán 14:44, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act, 1935? I recently found this document and it may be invaluable for general info and a bit of historic DOC Format. Djegan 17:58, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Constitutional Committee Image[edit]

I am considering uploading an image of the Constitutional Committee for inclusion in the Origins section of this site, but as a novice to editing on Wikipedia, am reluctant to apply such a dramatic change to a site at such an advanced stage. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Perhaps a dedicated section on the Constitutional Committee might be considered? RashersTierney (talk) 15:01, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
