[edit]

"They are so typical for Los Angeles that several TV series were recorded, among others, Melrose Place." What does that sentence mean? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.218.82.48 (talk) 18:28, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Spam

[edit]

I deleted one of the entries in this discussion page because it was obviously spam. The other one looks like spam, but someone might care about it? I don't know.70.119.126.195 (talk) 13:35, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Term for wings (?) surrounding courtyard?

[edit]

What do you call the part of a building that stands on one side of an inner courtyard? 'Wing' usually denotes a building added to the main, or initial house, but in a courtyard house, medieval inn/khan/caravansary, castle and similar type of building, the (usually 4) side somethings surrounding the courtyard are the essential part of the original layout.

Example: "Two-storey residential ...s suround the inner courtyard."
