Intro Riff[edit]

So, guys. I noticed that the song's intro manages to insert the Morse code for "S.O.S" (which is three short beats, three long and three short again) in a 4/4 time signature. It makes sense if you think that the song deals with death and suicide matters and maybe someone asking for help. I couldn't find any reliable source on that matter, but I'm pretty sure it was on purpose. I wanted to insert this information in the article but I'm not sure how to do it and even if I should do it. What do you guys think? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dudagth (talkcontribs) 01:50, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thrash?[edit]

I know there's a reference, but this song sounds like 100% straight up heavy metal, a la the black album. It's not fast, which is the defining characteristic of thrash metal, for starters. I added the heavy metal genre, but perhaps reconsider the thrash. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.54.225.222 (talk) 12:39, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thing is, Metallica is still considered to be a thrash metal band, so any released songs will be considered thrash. And I mist disagree. Peace Sells is not particularly fast, but it is considered to be thrash. Killswitch Engage (talk) 15:42, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Jesus Christ, are you insane? You mean that if a band is considered to be of one genre, it automatically makes all their songs of tha genre? Wtf? So Project EKO (electronica) by Devin Towsend is metal? Plain idiocy. It's heavy metal, this song.Conservoman (talk) 17:09, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thrash Metal[edit]

Do not add Heavy Metal to this page. Before some idiot reverted the edit, there were several sources identifying it as Thrash Metal but all of those sources are gone now because some people don't know the rules here at Wikipedia. We do not add a genre or take one away based on personal opinion, but we use verifiable sources. All edits will be reverted. Kevin G. 22:20, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Then what the hell's with the sources?--200.199.140.205 (talk) 19:36, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Heres a source for Thrash Metal http://au.music.ign.com/articles/907/907714p1.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ducky610 (talkcontribs) 08:07, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Genre[edit]

For the last time. If a Genre has a source and its an active link you have no authority to change it. I have sourced it and just because you feel its a different genre does not matter. We don't use personal opinions of Wikipedia. You need to read the rules and understand before you continue to ruin this page. This same thing is going on in "The Day That Never Comes" page too. Grow up guys, your opinion isnt law. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kgardner1123 (talkcontribs) 02:02, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
