Could we use this paragraph as a source for information about the effects on Goa? --Comment by Selfie City (talk about my contributions) 14:05, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There was some news in today's newspapers, but I can't find it now. JavaHurricane (talk) 16:05, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wind Speed[edit]

The 1 minute sustained wind speed is currently listed as being lower than the 3 minute sustained wind speed. That doesn't make any sense. Can we get a fix on that? For now I'll just raise the 1 minute sustained wind speed to match the 3 minute sustained wind speed (since if it was sustained for 3m it was sustained for 1m). WiggleCat (talk) 19:16, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

We have two different agencies giving estimates with different wind speeds. While I think the JTWC botched the peak by quite a bit, we have to go with their estimate of 130. NoahTalk 01:45, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted all recent edits. The pressure should be 915 as per the advisory, since the IBTRACS value of 923 seems to be an artifact and is not post-analysis.--Jasper Deng (talk) 11:15, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why isn't this page updated?[edit]

The meteorological history is completely outdated and not properly written. Please update the page. JavaHurricane (talk) 16:41, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to help out if you’re interested. Hurricanehink mobile (talk) 12:28, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why was this created?[edit]

The topic is not notable, there were no fatalities and minimal damage. Why was this created? 🦠🌀𝕾𝖚𝖕𝖊𝖗 𝕮𝖞𝖈𝖑𝖔𝖓𝖎𝖈 𝕾𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖒 𝕮𝖔𝖗𝖔𝖓𝖆🌀🦠 16:04, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

At the end of the day, it is a notable tropical cyclone since it Kyarr peaked as a Super Cyclonic Storm and impacted land, however, how much damage was caused in Oman, UAE, Dubai and India is debatable.Jason Rees (talk) 17:40, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Jason Rees, Well, strength doesn't say everything. I still think this shouldn't have been created. 🦠🌀𝕾𝖚𝖕𝖊𝖗 𝕮𝖞𝖈𝖑𝖔𝖓𝖎𝖈 𝕾𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖒 𝕮𝖔𝖗𝖔𝖓𝖆🌀🦠 18:30, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Given the storm's large size, I'm sure it had a lot of impacts across the Arabian Sea that haven't been documented yet. This storm is on my list to work on this year (once I get used to my new job/situation). ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:41, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hurricanehink, ok. I'll work on it too. 🦠🌀𝕾𝖚𝖕𝖊𝖗 𝕮𝖞𝖈𝖑𝖔𝖓𝖎𝖈 𝕾𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖒 𝕮𝖔𝖗𝖔𝖓𝖆🌀🦠 20:21, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
