I removed the statement about DNS being shared as it is assumed that DNS is mostly for the web. A lot of DNS servers are shared, but the statement as written was inaccurate and not helpful in this article. I also removed a statement in the Free section that basically repeated that DNS servers are often distributed to improve performance, which was already stated in the top section. I have decided not to revert it entirely but put the original paragraph at the start as an introduction. I am not sure what to do with the rest of the section as it contains very little fact.
