Warren Ellis has posted that he's received an email which claims Stevens died yesterday. I can't find any "official" news about this, so I'm inclined not to amend the article straight away. --S. C. 18:10, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I updated the article making use of the material being made availible on the internet in recent days. There's still some formatting and tightening up to do.

There is nothing but speculation by Dave Stevens that "The Rocketeer" did not do well at the box office because of it's release within a few days of "Terminator II". It is possible it did not do well for other reasons.

I was just noticed that a 1991 LA Times article about Stevens and the Rocketeer movie says that he grew up in Bell, CA. Tighelander (talk) 08:34, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm currently working on an update to the Rocketeer page itself and I think this one might be next on my list, even if biography is not a strong point. While I get round to it can I ask exactly why a huge chunk of this article is about comics made after Stevens died that he wasn't actually involved with?
